Winter/Spring 2012 Workshops

Awakening Love and Compassion: An Overnight Retreat

The cultivation of love and compassion often begins with acknowledging the inherent goodness at the core of ourselves. How we engage that inherent goodness shapes the ways we accept ourselves and reach out toward others. What does this kind of deep friendliness look like?  How might we bring more of our goodness to the world? And how might we acknowledge the goodness in others?

During this Women’s Retreat we will explore this theme and these questions through meditation, visualization, exercises, playfulness, and sharing with others.

Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.
